Baby Riley

This is my attempt to photograph a baby! Here I was thinking how difficult can this be? Its a baby for goodness sake, they eat, sleep, barely move and cry occasionally.... oh dear, how wrong was I! Positioning a baby for a flattering pose, while keeping them alert, entertained and trying to avoid upsetting them was a marathon of a challenge! With my relaxed - this-should-be-a-simple-photo-shoot approach, I was completely unprepared, a baptism of fire (excuse the baby pun) of course I gave the impression to Riley's parents that I was cool, calm and collected, done this a million times! Or at least I 'think' this was the impression I was giving them?!?

Anyway, here's the result of the shoot.
